Los Lobos Consulting, founded in 1999, is an executive and project manager coaching firm. Operating out of the sunny El Paso, Texas area, the firm offers coaching services to project managers, project leaders, program managers, and everyone who leads and manages projects.
The founder and president, Diana Lindstrom, is a formerly certified project manager and electrical engineer. I am also a CTA certified coach (CTACC).
Starting out my engineering career in the electric power industry—generation and transmission substations—I moved into industrial design. After several years, I morphed into facility management, including construction and maintenance management.
Working for companies like American Electric Power, Black and Veatch, Johnson Controls at Los Alamos National Laboratory, BNFL Instruments, and UCAR, I have honed my project management skills. Working with professionals who are engineers, electricians, software developers, physicists, and technicians, I have developed leadership and management skills.
I also worked at Qwest Communications as a Strategic Sourcing Manager in the procurement department. I utilized my legal training and negotiations skills, along with my project management skills, to implement programs which saved the company millions of dollars each year.
Having developed and taught a project management course to adults at the University of New Mexico, Los Alamos, continuing education program, I am experienced with helping new project managers, experienced project managers, and those who never wanted to be project managers — you know who you are!
So if you have challenges in any area of project management, from fundamental skills to those “soft” people skills, I can help you find your success.
